We are thrilled to announce that Scout, an independent economic development platform, has named Fort Worth the fastest city in Texas for permitting and zoning. This recognition highlights Fort Worth’s exceptional efforts in creating a business-friendly environment and streamlining processes crucial for economic growth.
Fort Worth ranked the highest in two categories: “Speed of Permitting” and “Speed of Zoning.” (4.0 of 5 for both). The only city to reach above 4 stars in these categories.
The city of Fort Worth, in collaboration with the Real Estate Council and other organizations, has been at the forefront of these efforts. Through continuous collaboration with the city, REC of GFW has played a pivotal role in improving real estate development processes. Initiatives such as regular forums with the city manager and comprehensive surveys have provided valuable insights and actionable recommendations.
