Event Recap: Third City Manager Forum on IPRC & Platting/Re-Platting

On November 7, 2024, the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth (REC of GFW) hosted its Third City Manager Forum at the Bob Bolen Public Safety Complex, advancing the vital dialogue between city officials and the real estate community. City Manager David Cooke, joined by Assistant City Managers and Department Directors, led interactive discussions centered on the Infrastructure Plan Review (IPRC) and platting/re-platting processes, two crucial areas impacting Fort Worth’s development landscape.

Structured in a collaborative roundtable format, the forum allowed REC members and industry professionals to share insights and challenges directly with city leaders. This gathering continues REC’s mission to drive improvements in response to the “10 Recommendations” for streamlining Fort Worth’s development process.

Thank you to all who participated and contributed to these productive discussions. Be sure to stay tuned for future forums as we work together to shape the future of Fort Worth’s real estate industry.
