The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth invites its Full and Founding/Sustaining Members to an exclusive Fireside Chat with James Hill, Director of the Center for Real Estate at the Neeley School of Business, Texas Christian University and a Member of the Board of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas. This engaging discussion, moderated by Rick Jenkins of Encore Bank, promises to provide invaluable insights for commercial real estate professionals navigating today’s dynamic market.
Hill will share valuable insights into the intersections of economic policy, financial markets, and commercial real estate. Topics will include the Federal Reserve’s role in interest rates, the future of cryptocurrency and central digital currencies, housing affordability, and global economic trends such as the evolving role of the U.S. dollar.
With his extensive experience in finance, banking, and real estate, Hill will provide actionable perspectives to help members navigate 2025’s opportunities and challenges.

James Hill joined the Dallas Fed Board in 2024.
Hill is director of the Center for Real Estate at the TCU Neeley School of Business, where he also serves as a professor in the finance department. Additionally, he is the principal of James Hill Consulting.
He previously served as executive vice president and chief strategy officer for AccessBank Texas and as vice president, senior vice president, and executive vice president at Texas Capital Bank.
Hill serves on the boards of the Tarrant Regional Water District, North Texas Commission, and Fort Worth Club. He also is a member of the Fort Worth Country Day School Building and Grounds Committee, Texas Wesleyan University President’s Advisory Council, Greater Fort Worth Real Estate Council Founder’s Council, and Fort Worth Stock Show Syndicate.
Hill received a BBA in finance from the Honors Business Program at the University of Texas at Austin and an Accelerated MBA from TCU.

Rick Jenkins is currently the Market President for the Arlington market with Encore Bank. Encore Bank is a technology driven, concierge bank serving commercial clients with their business lending and commercial real estate needs. Rick has been in the banking industry for over 20 years. Prior to joining the banking industry he was involved in the commercial real state industry as a leasing and sales agent and also worked for a local development firm. Rick still holds his Texas Real Estate Broker's license. Currently, Rick is a member of the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth's Founder's Council and an executive committee member, Arlington Chamber of Commerce, Rotary Club of Arlington, Rotary Club of Arlington Foundation Vice President, Member of the Legislative Committee for the Texas Banker’s Association. He is the Past Chairman of the board of directors of the Tarrant County Bankers Association, Past Chairman of the board of trustees for Pantego Christian Academy and currently chair the Clay Shoot committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Tarrant County to raise funds for the Big’s Outdoor program.
