It is Time to Get Out and VOTE!
As Fort Worth continues to grow, the leadership guiding that growth becomes more important than ever. This spring, we have an opportunity to elect local leaders who understand the importance of smart development, economic opportunity, and long-term planning.
The Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth encourages all members to participate in the upcoming municipal election, where several key positions are on the ballot. Your vote helps shape the future of our city and region.
Election Dates to Remember:
Early Voting Begins: Tuesday, April 22
Early Voting Ends: Tuesday, April 29
Election Day: Saturday, May 3
Polling Hours: Most locations open from 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

Fort Worth City Council:
Mayor Mattie Parker
District 2: Carlos Flores
District 3: Michael Crain
District 4: Charles Lauersdorf

The elections in Districts 5 and 6 are expected to go to a runoff. Once the top two candidates are determined, The Real Estate Council will conduct interviews and share our recommendation with members ahead of the runoff election.
We generally support incumbents, as they have the deepest familiarity with the city’s development process and a proven understanding of the policies that impact our profession. Their experience ensures continuity, efficiency, and thoughtful decision-making on the issues that matter most to the commercial real estate community.
