Tarrant County Administrator, GK Maenuis and Fort Worth ISD Superintendent Kent Scribner attended the October 14 REC of GFW meeting and presented updates on the bond packages for FWISD and Tarrant County.

Tarrant County worked with cities throughout the county to put together their bond package. There are two parts to the package -- Proposition A focuses on Traffic Mobility and Proposition B addresses Public Safety. Find out more here on Tarrant County's website.
The Fort Worth ISD Bond package has four parts. Proposition A focuses on improving FWISD Middle School campuses and on building new elementary schools and improving early childhood learning centers. Proposition B improves high school and middle school auditoriums. Proposition C constructs three new stadiums and Proposition D helps improve athletic facilities. Early voting begins on October 18 and runs through October 29. The last day to apply for a mail in ballot is October 22 and election day is November 2.
