On September 30th, the City of Fort Worth, in partnership with the Real Estate Council of Greater Fort Worth and local chambers, hosted a successful "Development 101" program at the new City Hall. This informative event provided a comprehensive overview of the Fort Worth development process for developers, investors, and planners.
The afternoon kicked off with an Open House and tour of the Development Services offices, giving attendees insight into how the department operates in its new space. The “Bob is Building a Bistro” workshop followed, outlining the nine essential steps in Fort Worth’s development process.
The breakout sessions offered deeper dives into key areas like Zoning, Urban Design, Transportation, Stormwater, Permits, and Fire Prevention, allowing participants to engage with city experts on specific topics.
